Happy President's Day! I'm not dead.
Hella busy, though. Also, two things: the snow came in hard and heavy and there's nowhere to run. And the gym (apparently, I have not been) has maximized space by setting the machines onto the track.
This past week I have been possessed by consumption. This weekend was unbearable, as I was hyperaware of how much food and junk I was eating. Anxious and bored, I imagine, though not seriously anxious. I rationalized that I was eating as a stimulus or reward to keep going ... of course, making a bowl of something means I will sit at a table to eat it and I can't work like that so I just do a crossword puzzle, anyway.
The gum helps. Big machine of Xylotol gum. My teeth have never been stronger. Seriously, even the dentist says so.
So, here we go. Sunny skies and clear(ish) pavement for a couple days before more winter weather. Wish me luck.

It was not my intention to have french toast for lunch. I was going to have a salad or something. But the boy made french toast, so what are you gonna do?
