Run for the hills. Run for the trees.

I had a fantasy about running the LES while we were out of town, but I also wanted to sleep in, to go with whatever the plan might be. Also, the forecast was for cold. It had snowed several inches the day before we arrived and the sidewalks and streets were sludgy and slippery.

I made the right decision by not bringing my kit, and I did not regret that one moment.
