You're always on the run now.

We are reading Annie Zileski's addition to the 33 1/3 series, examining the creation and cultural impact of the Duran Duran album Rio. They are a terribly underrated band, and Rio is a seriously good record.

Distance: 3.5 miles
Duration: 32:50
Pace: 9:22
Route: Forest Hill Loop
Temperature: 73°
Climate: sunny & bright
Mood: good
Weight: 182 lbs. (-0-)

Huh. Too many carbs.

Intake
Breakfast: coffee (2x)
Lunch: big salad
Afternoon treat: Lemon Hefewizen
Snack: mandarin, tiny cupcake
Dinner: cool cilantro pesto pasta with carrots & toasted almonds
Also, fizzy water (2x), Caucasian (1x)

Every single song on this playlist is a banger. It's interesting, even a song like Save a Prayer, which seems slow, has a good bpm. It isn't a driving rhythm, but it moves. I have been culling favorites from a list just before I go out thinking, if that pops up, it will drag me down.

1982 Playlist
Save a Prayer - Duran Duran
Forget Me Nots - Patrice Rushen
It's Nearly Africa - XTC
Radio Silence - Thomas Dolby
Beat It - Michael Jackson
Desperate But Not Serious - Adam Ant

Man. Sweaty.
